Discovery of the villages in family

Even in winter you can explore the resort’s villages on foot and with the family.

In each village there are specially adapted walks for families with pushchairs and toddlers. You will find these easy itineraries marked with a logo in our guide.
Dotted along your walks you will also find play areas, benches and changing spaces.

We are keen to teach children from an earliest age about protecting the environment. Again this winter the park has set up a nature walk for all the family that goes between Le Monétier and the small village of Le Casset.

Famille Plus Montagne suggestion: why not stop in at the large Yurt on the edge of the trail, below the campsite, for a warm welcome and snack or meal. Free access during the day.

Activities and events

Kids are kings in Serre Chevalier: there are crèche services, skiing, boarding and other activities as well as numerous shows organised by the Serre Chevalier events team.

Fun activities for children organised each week (free, detailed programme in Serre Che News).
 Tea organised in each village.
 ‘Four aux enfants’ (children’s oven): an invitation for kids to make their own cakes and biscuits and bake them in a wood-fired oven
 ‘La montagne de Jeux’ (mountain of games): join the Association Carambole and find out more about the ‘Ludothèque nomade’ (nomad’s games library)
 School holiday ‘descentes aux flambeaux’ (torch-lit descents of the pistes), every week during french holidays, by the ESF of Serre Chevalier in each of the three villages.

Transport

There is a shuttle service to take you around the valley that runs approximately every 30 minutes during the day. Tickets prices vary depending on the trip. Free for those showing a valid ski pass or carte d’hôte (given to you by your accommodation provider when you arrive). arrivée).
