Serre Che Luc Alphand 2008

Mass start race.
Routes on the county and Italian roads(closed to traffic). Many well known passes in the program : Izoard (2361m), Galibier (2642 m), Echelle (1764m) e Montgenèvre (1860 m).
This race is sponsored by Luc Alphand and organized by the ASPTT Briançon / Serre Chevalier with 300 volunteers.

In 2006, the famous magazine Cyclosport made a survey to know the prefered races. 3 races had a lot of votes : l’Ardéchoise, stage of the Tour de France and…. the Serre Che Luc Alphand.
A « human size » race was the title of the magazine which appreciated « the friendly atmosphere» of the event…

New in 2008 :

- C route open to “cadets”. The little route (C), via the passes of Montgenèvre and Echelle, is open to “cadets” category : born in 1993 and 1992.

- Choice of the route the day of the race. You will choose your route, the morning of the race on site !.
