The ski area invests €10 million

The ski area of Serre Chevalier has announced that projects underway this summer for the 2010-11 ski and snowboard season will total €10 million including a new chairlift.

Ski area 7th high speed six seater chair which will quickly link Villeneuve to Monêtier les Bains area
Increase capacity and upgrade efficiency of the snowmaking system which is already one of Europe's largest.
Miscellaneous pistes improvements for the comfort and safety of skiers of which 2 new gazex (Avalanches control systems)

WIFI news

Works to extend the wireless have been committed in recent weeks. The first and second phases of this expansion are in service on La Salle les Alpes.

Coverage estimated on 29 July : Prélong shopping center, carpark Rozé, Concorde, Area south sides, Northern area between the former UCPA center and the petrol station “Total”, Grand Sud Building, Pierre & Vacances south side, Plaine Alpe South side.

The Wireless Network Connection “Internet-ici” is available with payment by credit cards. The terms and rates of access are posted at the launch of your browser.

Neptune company, in partnership with municipalities and the Tourist Office has invested on Serre Chevalier to allow access to the WiFi in greater numbers

Expansion coming on in La Salle les Alpes: Northern sides of the buildings between the Chazelay and the aravet place.
Later : Works Phase III, extending wireless for nearly all the buildings on the snowfront

BMX track

Discover our BMX track, field of the last European BMX Games

SESSION
On mondays, wednesdays and fridays from 9.30am to 12am. State-certified instructor (teaching and security).
Material : BMX or Dirt MTB.
Full face helmet, back protector, gloves, knee pads. Content Session: acceleration, mobility on the bike, rotation, jumping, trajectory when cornering.
Price : 28 euro session. From 7 years old

FREE ACCESS
from early august, for those who have their own equipment, the track will be free and under supervision, on tuesdays and thursdays morning and on saturdays all day
Conditions : having his own BMX and all the protections required (helmet, gloves and dorsal)

The use of motorized vehicle on the track is strictly prohibited !
