The SNOOC is a revolutionary new sport, using equipment designed for hiking and free-riding. You go up on short skis and assemble them to go down sitting on one, a 2-in-1 that combines ski touring and tobogganing!
Who can Snooc?

The Downhill Snooc
A Snooc with a single ski: it can’t be used for ski touring.
On foot only: Prorel, Ratier (as well as the Serre Chevalier cable car during the Feb / March school holidays), Aravet and Fréjus cable cars, Casse du bœuf and Bachas chairlifts.
Price: “ski touring” skipass.
The Snooc mobile app geolocates all the routes accessible on a Snooc, Snooc shops and Snooc instructors as well as access to teaching tutorials. You can also create your own routes and shares them with the Snooc community.
On the climb up, you use both skis, with bindings and “seal” skins just like ski touring. Hiking or snow boots can be used, high up on the ankle so that you can be comfortable on your walk up the mountain. At the top the skins and bindings are removed and stowed in a backpack (1kg), the skis are screwed together on top of each other, the seat and suspension (2kg) are put in place, assembly is simple with no special tools required.
It all takes less than 5 minutes, then you just sit on your comfortable sledge seat and set off down the hill. Light, easy to handle and great fun with other Snoocers!
