Ski touring takes pride of place

Nature-lovers are invited to come and try their hand at ski touring in complete safety on two permanently marked tracks at Serre Chevalier: Villeneuve La Salle Les Alpes and Monêtier les Bains.
The Serre Chevalier ski area has been able to facilitate access to this discipline with low risk, combining safety, comfort and proximity. The ski routes are only accessible during the ski lift opening hours.
Skiing up the pistes is forbidden. You must only ski down the pistes. These pistes are open-access and allow beginners to try this activity and then practise in the nearby wilderness.
