The geodevelopment is unique and offers completely improbable things, those rock formations that one does not expect to find in the Alps. Lava cushions, dolomites and other ophiolites formed on the ruins of the alpine ocean, offer to the view a patchwork of colors and forms to make dream those who love rockery.

It is undoubtedly here that lovers of the earth will be able to unravel the mysteries of its creation. Opened since March 2016, the House of Geology and Geopark aims to provide access to geological knowledge.
An educational place par excellence, it welcomes the general public, scientists, students and school groups. If it presents the geological wealth of the region, it tells the story of the birth of the Alps and the history of the earth, since its creation 4,567 million years ago.
In the museum, a 7 meter long frieze illustrates its evolution and also photos, models... interactive touch screens and real time seismographic readings, which make the visit complete and fun. To go further, the House offers themed workshops, screenings, temporary exhibitions, conferences, introductory courses and even access to a small laboratory equipped with microscopes, to better understand what happens between the pores of the rock.
