Festival Swing In the Mountains - Sharron McLeod

Toronto-born Sharron McLeod is renowned for her sumptuous, evocative voice. She is one of Canada's favourite performers at Toronto's prestigious annual Downtown Jazz Festival, and has also served as a community outreach consultant to the jazz community.
Her musical education began in 1968 at Jesse Ketchum Public Elementary School with the recorder. Her early musical training included studies with Doug Stewart (York Winds, Canadian Opera Company), Erindale College at the University of Toronto, and the Royal Conservatory of Toronto.
