Musical comedy Oh, La Fontaine, the return...
This show, which brings together all the performing arts: original music, song, dance and comedy, focuses on a women's choir, which will be the main thread running through this adaptation of La Fontaine's Fables, complementing the singers' performances.
The number of performances will be increased to 15 (2 extra!) in response to audience demand.
La Fontaine was a keen observer of his time. He was able to bear witness to and denounce the failings of his time with humour and intelligence, letting the animals have their say and saving himself a great deal of trouble in the process.
The comedy features an orchestra of 10 musicians, 8 dancers and 9 actors, singers and circus performers who demonstrate splendid enthusiasm and recognised talent.
With humour and subtlety, the production offers a double reading for children and their parents alike.
