End-of-year festivities: let the magic happen!
At the end of the year, after a beautiful day in the fresh air, you can't wait for the night to arrive.

Briançon's Christmas market comes to town
From December 19 to 24, 2025 , the Marché Couvert parking lot is transformed. Wooden chalets, string lights and mulled wine: Briançon celebrates Christmas in its own way.
Every day from 10am to 7pm, local craftsmen and producers await you.
Find the perfect gift, indulge in a mountain speciality, or simply stroll around in a festive atmosphere.
Every day, there's face painting, pony rides and entertainment .
Christmas Car" parade, on 20 and 22 /12, the electric Christmas cart that will transport you in song to Santa's wonderful world! In the presence of Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Olaf, Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus! ( Cie Mephisto ) ( 3 visits/day, one in the morning and two in the afternoon at the Christmas Market )
The big illuminated tree, the glittering decorations, and that unique mountain market atmosphere: it's the perfect opportunity to take a break after skiing or to kick off your Christmas weekend in Briançon.
ASTRIA, grand parade by Compagnie Planète Vapeur
Imagine the Rue Centrale transformed into a celestial stage. On December 23 at 6pm, the Planète Vapeur company takes downtown Briançon into a universe where gravity no longer exists.
Astria is a total spectacle: aerial acrobatics, suspended dancers, luminous costumes and an enveloping soundscape. The artists, like living stars, move between heaven and earth, creating a fantastic parade where dreams become real.
A timeless moment for young and old, where the art of movement and visual poetry meet in the heart of the City in Rue Centrale.

Our advice: Make sure you cover up well ( outdoor show) and arrive early to take advantage of the best spots. The show always attracts big crowds!
Santa Claus will honor you with his presence from December 21 to 24, 2025 at Santa's House, located in the Cité Vauban in Briançon Porte de Pignerol.
Little ones will find a letterbox in which they can slip their letter. To meet Santa Claus in a site steeped in history, whose fortifications are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is quite simply exceptional.

✏️ Christmas drawing competition from December 15 to 30 for children aged 0 to 10. Drop off your drawings at Porte de Pignerol or Place de l'Europe.
Prizes to be won for the best drawing or the best letter. Please write your last name, first name, telephone number and address on the back of the drawing. Drop off your drawings at Porte de Pignerol or Place de l'Europe.
Santa's arrival on December 24
A veritable marathon for Santa Claus, who will make no fewer than 4 appearances on December 24! Young and old alike will be able to witness his arrival:
- Briançon (Cité Vauban 5pm)
- Chantemerle (Place du Téléphérique 18h)
- La Salle-les-Alpes (Aravet 5:30pm)
- Le Monêtier-les-Bains (Pré Chabert 5:45pm).
Christmas Village
