End of year festivities: let the magic happen!

Tonight, Tuesday December 30, an XXL video mapping show will light up Saint-Chaffrey!
To enable everyone to enjoy this event in complete safety, traffic arrangements will be put in place on our lines from 5pm to 9pm: no traffic from the Éoliennes traffic circle to the Verdarel bridge, towards Briançon.
Village shuttles :
- Circuits B and evening: Les Potasses, Champs Arnoux, Le Verdarel, Mairie and Rond-point sud stops served only in the Briançon → Saint-Chaffrey direction
- Route C: Les Potasses stop not served
Route 6: Champs Arnoux, Mairie and Rond-point sud stops not served
Route 55: Mairie stop not served
Heavy traffic is expected in the valley. We strongly advise you to plan ahead.

XXL video mapping: Serre Chevalier's extraordinary adventure
On December 30, the Luc Alphand piste is transformed into a giant screen. Forget everything you know: that evening, the mountain tells its own story.
Monumental video mapping, spectacular visual effects and immersive staging. Between light and shadow, ice and fire, past and present, Serre Chevalier reveals itself in a breathtaking fresco. Monumental images projected onto the snow, mysterious effects, a spellbinding soundtrack: a sensory journey where nothing is quite real... or quite imaginary.
An extraordinary show that combines nature, technology and poetry to end the year on a high note.

Dress warmly and arrive well in advance to take advantage of the best spots. The show always draws a big crowd!

ASTRIA, grand parade by Compagnie Planète Vapeur
On December 23 at 6pm, the central street was transformed into a celestial stage. The Planète Vapeur company swept downtown Briançon into a universe where gravity no longer existed.
Astria offered a total spectacle: aerial acrobatics, suspended dancers, luminous costumes and an enveloping soundscape. The artists, like living stars, moved between heaven and earth, creating a fantastic parade where dreams became real.
A timeless moment for young and old, where the art of movement and visual poetry met in the heart of the city, in the central street.
A free, magical performance that drew large numbers of spectators to admire this unique creation 🤩
Briançon's Christmas market lights up the town
From December 19 to 24, 2025 , the Marché Couvert parking lot was transformed for the festive season. Wooden chalets, strings of lights and the scent of mulled wine: Briançon celebrated Christmas in its own way.
Every day from 10am to 7pm, local craftsmen and producers offered their creations.
The perfect opportunity to find the perfect gift, indulge in a mountain speciality, or simply stroll around in a festive atmosphere.
Entertainment for young and old
Throughout the event, face-painting, pony rides and other activities kept the days moving. On December 20 and 22, the "Christmas Car" parade took visitors into the magical world of Christmas aboard a musical electric cart! Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Olaf, Mrs. Claus and Santa Claus (Cie Mephisto) made their way through the market three times a day.
The large illuminated Christmas tree, glittering decorations and unique mountain market atmosphere provided an enchanting break for skiers and visitors alike who came to celebrate Christmas in Briançon.
