A new space of water, warmth and sensations

Inaugurated in mid-January, Spa La Rotonde officially opened its doors to the general public on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10am.

This high-end spa enhances the already emblematic wellness offering of the Grands Bains du Monêtier, famous for its naturally warm waters. Here, relaxation takes on a whole new dimension thanks to a succession of immersive spaces where the senses are constantly awakened.

Immersive pool, snowroom and sparkling water: the experience of well-being

Each area has been designed to the highest standards, combining meticulous aesthetics, absolute comfort and innovative technologies.

Not to be missed:

The immersive sensory pool, the centerpiece of the spa, equipped with a 12-meter-long panoramic screen. Images, atmospheres and natural elements accompany every moment for total immersion.
The sparkling water pool, a promise of unprecedented relaxation thanks to exclusive micro-bubble stimulation technology.
The snowroom, between 2 and 5°C, ideal for awakening the body after a visit to the hammam and playing on hot-cold contrasts.
The salt room, with its Himalayan salt walls, to enjoy the renowned benefits of halotherapy.
And don't forget the panoramic sauna and outdoor Jacuzzis, offering breathtaking views of the Alpine peaks, or the natural 44° waterfall, fed directly by the Monêtier hot spring.

La Rotonde: a project rooted in history and looking to the future

The name La Rotonde was not chosen at random. It refers both to the architecture of the building and to the hot spring at Monêtier-les-Bains, whose virtues were already known in Roman times.

Today, the Grands Bains du Monêtier is a must for visitors to Serre Chevalier. With La Rotonde, the facility takes a new step forward by offering a high-end, immersive sensory experience that complements the existing offering.

This is a structuring project for the valley, strengthening its all-season appeal to tourists and affirming Serre Chevalier's position as a benchmark wellness destination in the mountains.
