Join us for a unique experience, where snowboard enthusiasts can duel on a pumptrack designed in Pierre Vaultier's unique style.
Red Bull Dual Shapes after "Shapes" and "Reshapes
2019: Pierre Vaultier, double Olympic snowboard cross champion, breaks the web with his "Shapes" video. It shows him snowboarding down a series of snow modules up to 6 m high, lined up on 250 m of flat terrain, at his home in Serre Chevalier.
In 2022, he did it again with the video "Reshapes", on an even more impressive snow pumptrack in Serre Chevalier.
" Shapes and Reshapes sparked so many conversations with the public. Everyone wanted to try to ride the line... Some thought it was easy, others knew how technical it was," recalls Pierre.
The public's reactions to these two videos multiplied his determination to take the video concept to a sporting event open to all: Red Bull Dual Shapes.
Duel on two lines of mirrored modules
- On January 27, 48 amateur snowboarders (men and women over 16) are expected to take part in this unique event.
- In a 1 vs 1 duel, participants will compete on two lines of mirrored modules, with a central median. Competitors complete the round-trip course over two winning runs. The first to ring the bell placed on the median wins the round.
