Atelier de chant et concert « Soltice »
- 5pm "Circle songs" singing workshop
Led by the four singers of the group Solstice, for whom vocal improvisation is a central area of exploration, this workshop offers a collective and sensitive plunge into the world of Circle songs, a form of improvised singing popularised by Bobby McFerrin.
Through vocal games, active listening and the creation of singing loops, participants are invited to experiment with spontaneous polyphony in a setting that is fun, caring and open to all.
All ages (adults and accompanied children aged 6 and over)
- 6.30pm "Solstice" concert
There are four women, we don't know where they come from or where they're going, only where they're taking us. To celebrate, they sing. In languages that rasp, that flow, that burn, that caress... Languages you'll know and others you've never heard before. Solstice knows no age or boundaries: it is the vibration of spectral voices, of honey or crystal. It's the pulsing of beaten skins and clashing wood. It's breath in metal and fingers on strings. Travelling between revisited folk songs and improvised music, the 4 musicians of Solstice sing to the Sun and howl at the Moon.
