Concert Sanam + Tessina

- Sanam is a post-folk free-rock sextet, as unclassifiable as it gets. Their music and performances resemble a ritual, a marriage, an exorcism of traditional Egyptian song/Arabic poetry put through the mill of improvised rock, free jazz and noise.
A concert in collaboration with Better Live, the European Union and Le Périscope.
- There are constellations in the musical universe that defy categorisation, and Tessina (vocals and guitar) accompanied by Stella (drums) is certainly one of them.
This duo offers a sensory journey through the stars, where oriental and psychedelic sounds merge with explosive folk/rock elements.
Together, Tessina and Stella transcend the boundaries of conventional music, with Tessina's open-D tuned guitar creating a sonic universe where beauty meets strength.
Their music is a celebration of diversity, an ode to artistic freedom, an invitation to reach for the stars and explore the infinite.
This concert is part of the Quart2Tour, a scheme set up by the PAM to identify and support emerging artists and groups in the South of France and Corsica.
