For the tenth year running, the Choeur Région Sud will be travelling to the Hautes-Alpes department for two special concerts.

The first will take place at the church in Monêtier-les-Bains on Saturday 25 July at 9.00 pm, and the second at the collegiate church in Briançon on Sunday 26 July at 6.00 pm.

Under the direction of Michel Piquemal, the choir invites you to embark on a wonderful musical journey through the sacred repertoire of three major composers of the 19th and 20th centuries. This programme centres on choral works by Charles Gounod, Gabriel Fauré and Francis Poulenc. It showcases rich, expressive music that encompasses the full spectrum of human emotions: anger and rebellion, but also joy, love and serenity.
