Spectacle "Corvidae"
Le jugement des corbeaux
Corvidae. Quand les espèces se regardent gives voice to four ravens, satirical and critical figures who observe humanity with a sharp eye. Adapted from the Italian TV series La Fabbrica del Mondo (RAI3), this show combines theatre, mechanical puppets and ecology. Paola Villani's set design weaves a dialogue between science, philosophy and art through these birds perched high above the ground, manipulated by sight.
The crows look at what our species has done to the Earth and ask us about possible remedies. Is a new harmony between nature and progress finally sustainable? With humour and lucidity, this show invites us to discover our species from an external point of view, to rethink our place in the world and to imagine a more sustainable future. This is visionary theatre, where technology becomes a tool for poetry and awareness.
In previous seasons, the TDB has already hosted two shows by Marta Cuscunà: La simplicité trahie and Sorry, boys. This trilogy raises awareness by blending puppetry and theatre around societal issues.
