Spectacle " Pacific Square"

Conceived as a playground where balance and brotherhood are put to the test, Pacific Square revolves around the encounter between a dancer and a roller dancer. How do they coexist? Adapting?

Dreaming together?

The show explores the possibility of a space of peace and tranquillity. On a 6x6 metre square of parquet floor, the two performers begin a choreographic dialogue. Their bodies grapple, brush up against each other and challenge each other in eccentric lifts and interdependent games, creating powerful, poetic images. Although the dance is resolutely contemporary, this duo is influenced by hip-hop, albeit circus-style.

Whatever the case, this creation is driven by a desire to go beyond convention.

With its pared-down scenography and singular movement, Pacific Square offers an experience that is at once visual, physical and symbolic. A contemporary pas de deux, urban and committed, that shakes the floor as much as it shakes the conscience.
