Spectacle " Thélonius et Lola"
A magical encounter against exclusion and prejudice
This is the story of a little girl who meets a dog without a collar, who sings, philosophises, speaks dog, cat and French. But a new law has just been passed: dogs without collars must be expelled...
Thélonius et Lola is a funny, poetic fable that tackles the issues of difference and racism. Serge Kribus delicately suggests the appropriate responses to a society that decides to banish an entire group: curiosity, empathy, intelligence and resistance. As she explores the world, Lola observes all living things as her equals. A character of invigorating charm and contagious determination, she gives us fresh air and the desire to follow her.
Between theatre, music and dance, the show brings to life the magical world of children's fables, where animals speak and children lead the way. Bound together by their love of music, it plays an essential role. In a stylised city, their friendship grows to the rhythm of the grooves and beats composed by Guillaume Saurel.
