Since 1984, the Marchés Artisanat & Saveurs des Alpes du Sud have been bringing together local producers and craftspeople every summer, carefully selected by the Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat for their know-how and creativity.
Authenticity, traceability and short distribution channels are the key words of these markets, which showcase the region's rich produce.

This season, Monêtier-les-Bains is hosting four of these markets in the Place de l'Église and Place Novalèse.

It's a great opportunity to stroll between the stalls, sample cheeses, honeys, charcuterie and other specialities from the Southern Alps, and to take away some unique local crafts. It's a great way to support the local economy and bring the spirit of the mountains into your everyday life.
