As the last glimmers of October fade, the Fort des Salettes does not sleep. Footsteps still echo through its icy galleries, yet no heart beats there. It is said that a soldier, torn from life, now wanders without a soul or rest. Some claim to have seen him. Others never returned to tell the tale.
