  • New Pontillas gondola - Christmas 2023

The Serre Chevalier ski resort is continuing its program to renovate its facilities. The project is part of a strategy to adapt to climate change - as part of Compagnie des Alpes' Net Zero Carbon approach - and to develop the mountain resort's appeal beyond skiing.

The new Pontillas gondola will link the village of La Salle les Alpes to the Méa sector (Villeneuve) in just eight minutes. This new facility replaces two obsolete lifts dating from 1984 and 1968. The replacement brings comfort and speed.

This 26 M€ investment will directly and indirectly reduce the estate's carbon footprint and help it adapt to global warming.

  • NEW ARTHUR BAUCHET TRACK

The Serre Chevalier Vallée Briançon ambassador is the pride of the valley: the man who started skiing in Serre Chevalier now has 8 Paralympic medals (including 3 gold), 16 World Championship medals (including 10 gold) and 16 Crystal Globes to his name
her record of achievements! Her smile and joie de vivre are universally appreciated. The old black run Cabane
du Berger (from the summit of Prorel towards the Chantemerle sector) will be renamed the Arthur Bauchet piste this winter.

A second sugar shack accessible to pedestrians

Following the success of the first Sugar Shack installed in 2021 on the Prorel sector, a second Sugar Shack will be built on the Villeneuve sector, below the arrival of the new Pontillas gondola.
Equally ecological and autonomous, it will be accessible to snowshoe-wearing pedestrians after a short ten-minute hike from the arrival point of the new gondola.
A total immersion in the world of Canadian trappers, but with a Serre Che twist: on-snow lollipop making with local honey or caramel and hot drinks for a fun, unusual and family-friendly break!
