A musical journey through the Mediterranean with Anne Trierweiler (vocals, kanun, percussion) & Raphaël Benyoucef (oud, bouzouki, vocals)
Vojao was born out of the collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Raphaël Benyoucef and singer-percussionist Anne Trierweiler.
The sounds of the oud and bouzouki blend with Greek, Turkish, Arabic and Sephardic songs that speak of exile, love and a zest for life.
A musical journey around the Mediterranean that will take you on a discovery of languages and instruments steeped in history.
