Jussanam is a South American singer who is deeply inspired by the life and work of Josephine Baker. Having fallen in love with this extraordinary figure, she has chosen to pay tribute to her on stage by retracing her exceptional journey through a show brimming with emotion.

Originally from Brazil, Jussanam admires, above all, Josephine Baker’s humanist values: her love for others, her generosity, her commitment and her deep respect for human beings. It is this aspect of her – as much the woman as the artist – that she now wishes to convey to the audience through her performance.
