To mark the International Year of Pastoral Pathways and Herders, “Le Souffle du Berger” is presenting a concert celebrating the lives of shepherds through a dialogue between Baroque music and pastoral traditions. Performed by La Chapelle Harmonique, an early music ensemble founded by Valentin Tourner.
This programme highlights the musical and cultural heritage associated with pastoralism and will be followed by a discussion on the current challenges facing pastoralism: biodiversity, sustainable land management, the promotion of local produce and the future of these trades. This event aims to raise public awareness and foster new forms of solidarity around pastoral areas.
