Never go off-piste without checking your avalanche beacon!

Snow is as light as cotton and it shines in the sun. You feel adrenaline in your whole body. It will be a great day!

In order for you to enjoy a perfect day away from the marked slopes:

  • Be aware of the conditions (read carefully the "Advice" section below).
  • Review the questions about your avalanche transceiver:

Is my avalanche transceiver working correctly?

Have I switched it on? Is it working properly?

Thanks to the avalanche beacon checkpoint stations, no need to remove 4 layers of clothing to find out. Pass the checkpoint and you will know right away if all the lights are green. Easy and safe!

5 checkpoint stations throughout the whole Serre Chevalier ski area*. They are represented by specific icons on the piste map.

Free access to any holder of a valid pass.
