Conscious Walking
Conscious walking is a walk that is done in silence. It focuses attention on the breath at first, it is a meditative walk that can be associated with cardiac coherence.
Conscious walking is associated with the flow of mindfulness... It is both a simple and effective way to get in touch or reconnect with our inner resources and with the present moment. Walking consciously is walking in depth: each of our steps leads us to who we really are
Little by little attention is brought to each movement during the walk. It allows you to turn your concentration on the simple fact of walking, to put and unroll your feet one after the other... As you go along, your awareness is focused on the external sounds, the space in and around you, while letting your thoughts go and wander... and coming back to the breath.
A guided conscious walk...
At the beginning of the session I will re-explain to you what conscious walking is all about. I will guide you throughout so that you focus on your breathing and then on your movements to observe what is happening within you.
Finally, you will become aware of your breath and of yourself but also of the breath of the group and of the nature around you.
