On December 6, 2025, it will finally be time to strap on the skis, breathe in the invigorating mountain air and hurtle down the snow-covered slopes.
Whether you're a pro at carving turns or a beginner looking for a thrill, Serre Chevalier has everything to thrill you. So, are you ready for a feast for the eyes (and legs)?
🗓️ A long-awaited opening
This year, Serre Chevalier invites you to join us on December 6 for the big chill! After months of waiting, the lifts will be back in operation, the chalets will be opening their sunny terraces, and the landscapes will be decked out in their white mantle. A magical moment for all snow lovers.
💡 Little tip: If you want to avoid the crowds, give preference to the first opening days or weeks in January, before the school vacations.

In Serre Chevalier, snow is king! Thanks to its generous natural snow cover and its artificial snow network covering 1/3 of its surface area, the ski area guarantees optimal conditions from the moment it opens. With 250 km of runs and a vertical drop of 1,200 metres, there's something for every level:
